Welcome!

Stormwater runoff is a significant source of water pollution and a threat to the health of waterways across the country. Cold climates present unique challenges for stormwater managers. These challenges are addressed by a Cold Climate Center of Excellence for Stormwater Control Infrastructure Technology (CCCESIT), co-led by the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and the University of Minnesota (UMN) in partnership with the National Municipal Stormwater Alliance (NMSA). The CCCESIT program has three main initiatives: conducting research; providing technical assistance to state, Tribal, and local governments; and collaborating with the other National centers.
